Council Member of China Die & Mould Industry Association

The China Die & Mould Industry Association (CDMIA), established in October 1984, is a national mold industry social organization registered and approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs with legal person status, and is also the only national industry organization in China’s mold industry. The association’s business supervising authority is the State Council State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It currently has over 1,300 direct group members and 16 professional (working) committees covering the entire mold manufacturing and upstream-downstream industrial chain. It is one of the founding members of the Federation of Asian Die & Mould Associations (FADMA) and a vice-chairman unit of the International Special Tooling & Machining Association (ISTMA). Taizhou Huangyan SINOMOULD Co., Ltd. was reviewed and approved to be formally added as a council member unit of the 7th Council of the China Die & Mould Industry Association, with the company’s legal representative Li Jun serving as a council member. Thereafter, SINOMOULD continued its council member status, consistently playing an active role in the CDMIA Council. The council member unit status is an important symbol representing the enterprise’s deep participation in industry governance, technical standard discussions, and policy recommendations.

Responsibilities and Value of CDMIA Council Member Units

The highest authority of the China Die & Mould Industry Association is the Members’ Congress, with a Council and a Standing Council established, and the association secretariat serving as the administrative office. According to the association’s articles of association, the association council is changed every 4 years. Council member units are the core members that participate in the review and decision-making of major association affairs during the recess of the Members’ Congress. According to the association’s articles of association, council member units must fulfill the following responsibilities: attend council meetings, participate in the voting on major association affairs, actively reflect industry demands and suggestions, and assist the association in standard formulation and technical specification promotion. Council member units have the right to recommend representatives to participate in the application and evaluation of China Key Backbone Mold Enterprises organized by CDMIA, and enjoy priority access to domestic and international mold industry technology, market, and policy information as well as guidance and consultation on national industrial policies provided by the association.
