For the U‑shaped box of 1200mm span, SINOMOULD uses thickened 718H pre‑hardened steel on the moving and stationary plates, combined with CAE structural stress analysis. This fundamentally eliminates wall thickness variation, flash, and misalignment of pin holes caused by elastic mould deformation.

Large pallet crates often have multiple holes and intersecting rib structures. We use Mouldflow analysis to precisely set the opening sequence of the multi‑point valve‑gated hot runner. Through advanced sequential injection technology, the meeting points of multiple melt fronts are pushed to non‑stress and non‑visible areas. This allows the pallet crate to fill gently at low pressure on a 2800‑ton machine, completely eliminating cold‑slag marks and the strength risks associated with weld lines.

  1. Large‑Part Cooling Efficiency & Shrinkage Control

For thick wall sections, complex conformal cooling and baffe‑type water circuits are designed inside the core and cavity. High‑pressure mould temperature controllers provide dynamic thermal balance control, ensuring a consistent cooling rate across the entire 1200mm length of the crate and controlling overall shrinkage within extremely tight tolerances. This guarantees that finished pallet crates stack smoothly, sit flat on the bottom, and are free from warpage.

  1. Balanced Dual‑Action Ejection & Forced Demoulding Reliability

Pallet crates are often deep and have multiple undercuts. SINOMOULD uses a composite ejection system combining straight ejectors, angled lifters, and ejector pins.   1. Large Gantry & Horizontal CNC Deep‑Hole Drilling

On 1950mm long‑span plates, large CNC gantry milling machines perform integrated rough and finish machining of reference surfaces and cavity slots, ensuring flatness and perpendicularity. Deep‑hole drilling produces long, conformal cooling channels through the entire plate thickness, with smooth inner walls, laying the thermal exchange foundation for the high‑efficiency 85‑second cycle.

  1. 5‑Axis Corner Cleaning & Precision Electrode EDM

The complex rib network and fine details of the pallet crate are directly milled with 5‑axis high‑speed machining centers. For sharp corners, deep narrow slots, and other areas where tools cannot fully reach, custom graphite electrodes are used for EDM corner cleaning. With orbiting EDM technology, all moulding surfaces blend seamlessly, achieving extremely high surface accuracy and insert interchangeability.

  1. Large Mould Base Precision Assembly & Red‑Dye Spotting

During the fitter assembly stage, experienced SINOMOULD mould technicians perform manual red‑dye spotting on critical mating surfaces such as parting lines, sliders, and wedge blocks, ensuring contact area exceeds 90%. All guide pins, bushings, and precision tapered lock blocks are calibrated for parallelism using laser interferometers.
