  • Material selection for core and cavity: We adopt high-quality corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant steel such as S136 and 2316 for the mould core and cavity, which not only ensures excellent polishability to meet the smooth surface requirements of rice cooker components but also enhances the mould’s service life and resistance to high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions during injection moulding.
  • Dimensional precision control: The rice cooker mould requires strict dimensional accuracy, especially for the lid and shell, which need to fit perfectly with other components. We use advanced CNC machining and precision testing equipment to control the mould’s dimensional error within a small range, ensuring that the produced rice cooker parts have consistent specifications and tight fitting.
  • Cooling system design: A reasonable cooling system is crucial for improving production efficiency and product quality.     • Strict quality inspection: From raw material incoming inspection to mould processing, assembly and trial production, we implement full-process quality control, conducting multiple rounds of testing and debugging to ensure that each mould meets the industry standards and customer requirements before delivery.

Rice Cooker Mould Tooling

  1. Precision machining of core and cavity: The core and cavity are the core components of the rice cooker mould, requiring high-precision machining. We use high-speed CNC milling, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), and WEDM (Wire Electrical Discharge Machining) technologies to ensure the surface finish and dimensional accuracy of the core and cavity. The surface roughness is controlled within Ra0.2-Ra0.4 to meet the smooth appearance requirements of rice cooker lids and shells, while dimensional tolerance is strictly controlled to avoid fitting problems with other components.
  2. Mold base processing and assembly: The mould base is the support of the entire mould, and its processing accuracy directly affects the stability of the mould. We adopt standardized mould base materials and precision grinding technology to ensure the flatness and parallelism of the mould base. During assembly, we pay attention to the fit clearance between the guide pillar and guide sleeve, ensuring smooth mould opening and closing without jamming, and strictly controlling the assembly error to avoid mould deformation during high-temperature and high-pressure injection moulding.
  3. Cooling and heating system processing: The processing of cooling and heating channels is crucial for mould performance. We use deep-hole drilling technology to process uniform and smooth cooling channels, ensuring that the channels are closely attached to the core and cavity to achieve rapid and uniform cooling. For parts that require temperature control, we accurately process heating channels to ensure stable temperature during injection moulding, avoiding product defects caused by uneven temperature.
  4. Surface treatment of mould components: After machining, the core, cavity and other key components undergo surface treatment such as nitriding and chrome plating. This treatment enhances the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and surface hardness of the mould, extends the mould’s service life, and prevents mould surface wear and corrosion under long-term high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions.
  5. Trial run and debugging: After the mould is processed and assembled, we conduct a full trial run and debugging. We simulate the actual injection moulding conditions, adjust parameters such as injection pressure, temperature and cycle, check the mould’s operation stability, product appearance and dimensional accuracy, and conduct targeted debugging for any defects, ensuring that the mould can meet the mass production requirements before delivery.
